Sperling Vineyards
Nestled in the historical Father Pandosy property, Sperling Vineyards is around the city since the 1920s. It is the year when vineyards were first planted, achieving commercial success by selling grapes to other wineries around the Okanagan.
In 2008, the sterling sisters opened a small boutique winery next to their mother’s Pioneer Country Market to become a certified organic winery in 2017 and expanded the following year to take over the market next door.
Sperling vineyards are mostly known for their elegance, texture, and authenticity. They took home numerous awards, and they also bagged the Riedel Winemaker of the year award in 2021. They also have an outdoor tasting area that captures great views of the mountains and you can also take a stroll through their vineyards’ labyrinth. If you are planning to take Okanagan wine tours, you cannot miss this one.
The View Winery
The next on our list is The View Winery, which is housed in a 1920s apple packing plant. The Winery is located on a part of the land of the Turton/Ward family for over five generations. The View Winery and Cidery began planting vineyards and cider apples in the mid-90s, and today, they now produce over 10,000 cases of wine and cider each year. The Vibrant Vine
This is the place where wine, art, and music meet, and so, The Vibrant Vine has become one of the most popular wineries on the East Kelowna Trail. The winery was opened in 2010 by Wyn and Marion Lewis, this wineshop sports some amazing 3D art of their labels, clothing, and walls, designed by their eldest son, Philip.
When you arrive at this place, music is played in the barrel room to help enhance the wine with sound vibrations, and this music further enhances the mood and improves the exchange of oxygen in the casks as they rest, hence they have given the name to their winery.
They also showcase an amazing courtyard, where live music is featured on their outdoor stage throughout the summer season on weekends.
